Soft Strike, Five Weights

The head is rubber or TPR — soft enough to strike a surface without leaving a mark, which is the whole point of the tool. Where a steel hammer dents trim, mars flooring or shocks an assembly apart, a mallet drives the joint home and leaves the face untouched. Heads split by compound: natural rubber for the standard build, reclaimed rubber for the economy black heads, and transparent soft rubber or yellow nitrile for the premium end. The head is round, and handles come in solid wood, spray-painted steel tube or fiberglass.

Five weights run 750G to 3000G: the light end for assembly and trim work, the mid weights for flooring and tile setting, the heavy end for pavers and landscape blocks. Export weights are quoted two ways — grams on this page, ounces in the US market, where the rubber ladder runs 4, 8, 16, 24 and 32OZ.

Where Rubber Mallets Are Used

Flooring installers are the repeat buyers: laminate, vinyl plank and timber all go together under a mallet, and the tool survives the whole install. Tilers use it to set and bed, woodworkers to knock joints home without bruising the timber, and automotive trim shops to seat panels and clips. The same tool serves door and window aluminum assembly, sheet-metal shaping, tent peg driving, leather upholstery and stone setting — any job where the workpiece must not be marked.

  • Flooring — laminate, vinyl plank and timber installation
  • Tiling — setting and bedding tiles
  • Woodworking — knocking joints home without bruising timber
  • Automotive trim — seating panels and clips
  • Aluminum & sheet metal — door and window assembly, panel shaping
  • Upholstery & stone — leather work and stone setting

Packing & Program Notes

Retail packing is a single mallet in an OPP bag or on a color hang card; inner boxes take 10 or 20 pieces. Carton counts step down with the weight: 100 pieces at 750G, 80 at 1000G, 60 at 1500G, 50 at 2000G and 40 at 3000G, and full containers palletize and stretch-wrap.

MOQ is 10 cartons. From 50+ cartons, custom packing and logo printing are on the table — white-label mallets are a standard program for buyers with their own tool brand.
